Own a PlayStation 3 and having an issue with Grand Theft Auto IV’s? Rockstar may finally have the fix, having just released a new patch that “prevents Gamespy’s servers from being overloaded and therefore reduces the impact on those servers that were causing the game to stutter and lock up.”

All of that is quite a mouthful, but whatever gets the job done, right? Rockstar says they will continue to monitor performance both on and offline and will provide further updates if necessary.

“We want to assure everyone that, together with our hardware partners, we continue to strive to give our fans the best possible interactive entertainment experience possible,” Rockstar said in a statement today. “This update will ensure that everyone will experience Grand Theft Auto IV the way it was intended. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.”

Assassins is a game where everyone in the game is assigned a target, who is someone else in the game. You then find your target and eliminate him (hit him with an allowable “weapon”). After eliminating your target, you go after his target. The game ends when only one person has not been eliminated, or on a specific date.

Assassins is a game that is popular among all different groups of people. Companies, Fraternities & Sororities, Universities, High Schools, Towns & Cities all organize and play Assassins. Conferences have been known to have assassins games that occur for the duration of the conference.
