Despite flying under the radar (but probably too close to the sun), Icarian: kindred spirits seem totally cool. In the Top game developer has given us this new trailer, with some sites (especially for WiiWare) and promising game.

Icarian is a motion-controlled platinum side scrolling on NYX “, a mysterious girl with wings, must descend from the sky, looking for his missing friend Icarus.” Along the way, reflects the ability of the Olympic gods that let you fight enemies and solving environmental puzzles. No official launch date (of course WiiWare), but in Europe before the end of this summer.

As my time back with Excite Truck at launch, my first experience with Excitebots is challenging due to the speed of cars and tensions in the race. It’s fun, but like Excite Truck, the learning curve is too low.

Before long, there is no problem in Excitebots. First, I have not felt so good, I missed a lot of pick-ups, and could not get the turbo to jump to save my life. But after only a handful of races, I was competent enough, it could see my CPU of competition during the brief few seconds before the start of each race. Excitebots think it’s best played in short sessions, which take the Wiimote, the crankshaft of a race or two, and move before things boring.

Another vulnerability that has taken more than Excite Truck is the lack of controls. Excitebots seems to have really benefited from MotionPlus, because it is incredibly difficult to do during the transition from high-speed cornering. It is beyond the point when you turn the Wiimote in that it does not recognize his contribution, and if you make a mistake during a drift or wait too long to prepare a return is thwarted again and again when Crash And Burn. This is generally not a huge problem, but more wind during these races, which was a big surprise at the lack of response.

Excitebots not all bad, however. Monster Games has added new fun gadgets, such as the short mini-games throughout each competition (such as playing the violin halfway), and new movements based on such things that make your walk in horse racing a mechanism, tilting the Wiimote and only accelerate. These things help blend the monotony of the race through the same places again and again and help out Excitebots. But like everything in this game, rather than participate in them, they are easier to excel, and become less fun.

How do you extend it, which undoubtedly one of the best games of this generation of products? In the case of Team 2 BioShock 2K Marin (and their employees 2K Australia), the answer appears to be “not much change.” To absorb all sorts of little information about the game going in the first complete solution for them, we felt like we knew what they expect, and more or less, we have it.
